PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
REGIONAL & STATE WIDE
​York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) is a community action agency that offers a one-stop shop for local and state assistance programs. ​YCCAC's Energy Services division can explain programs such as the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), which helps eligible homeowners and renters cover home heating and energy costs.​​
Habitat for Humanity's Aging in Place program helps older adults age at home and in communities of their choice. The Community Aging in Place Grant Program offers eligible low-income elderly and disabled homeowners no-cost home safety checks, minor maintenance repairs, and accessibility modifications.
York County Council of Realtors’ Affordable Housing Heating Assistance program helps families secure heating fuel when all other resources have been exhausted. Funded through annual fundraising, the program has provided more than $221,850 in assistance to date. The program partners with Downeast Energy, which offers discounted heating prices during the heating season.
