GETTING STARTED
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Homeowners whose primary residence is in Kittery, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit, or Wells may be eligible to receive financial support. To be eligible for financial assistance, you must qualify as low-income or moderate-income. Energy Navigators will provide funding that stacks on top of Efficiency Maine rebates to further decrease the upfront cost of upgrades.
Low-Income Guidelines and Support
To qualify as low-income, a member of your household must be enrolled in SNAP, TANF, HEAP, or MaineCare. We encourage you to request assistance even if you aren't currently enrolled in any of the required programs, as we can help you determine your eligibility.
Weatherization Support

Up to $8,000 for Efficiency Maine rebate-eligible attic or basement insulation and air sealing projects.
Heat Pump Support

100% of project costs covered for installing a supplemental heat pump.

$3,000 per Efficiency Maine rebate-eligible heat pump installed.
Moderate-Income Guidelines and Support
The income guidelines for moderate-income households are based on household size and adjusted gross income (AGI). The table below outlines the income cap per household size. We encourage you to reach out for financial support even if you're slightly above the income thresholds!

Weatherization Support
